Why are my payouts being held for over a month after items were delivered?? I don’t remember this happening before.

·3 weeks agoWhen you checked the hold details, did eBay actually show you a specific reason for the hold, an exact release date, and whether there was anything you could do to get the funds released sooner?

·Sep 13, 2026 at 8:35 PMDecisions on when your listings are subject to holds are made by an automated algorithm. What it is is secret but the lower your sales and the number of those sales which are big ticket, will influence whether they are held, and the hold time is more or less a month after a delivered scan. Missing scan, longer hold.
And we can never rely on past experience as a predictor of future performance. The algorithm may change without any notice.

·Sep 13, 2026 at 8:33 PM · Edited@dollsbydesign Nobody here can tell you the exact reason why as we don't work for eBay nor do we have access to your account. Plus, you provided little details for us to even hazard a reasonable guess.
You can read about holds here. Near the top of the page there is a big blue button that says, "Check Payment Holds." Click that and it should give you details about your specific hold.
