First sale, Shipping Help
I made my first sale, but my return address isn't current. I didn't catch it until I printed the label and it won't allow me to change my address on the shipping label, buy another label and I can't cancel it either. I don't know what to do. Someone please would you be so kind as to advise me on what to do.

·3 days agoMake sure all your addresses are updated. You have a "return" address that is used if you need to provide a return label. Some sellers have that different from their "shipped from" address. Make sure all your addresses are correct, not just your primary one you see on the label

·4 days agoI would not worry about it unless you fully expect a return to happen, in which case you can simply communicate with the buyer ahead of time.
that being said.
once a item has sold nothing can be changed, you "could" buy your own label outside of ebay if you feel it is that critical.
In the meantime correct your address/information on file so that this does not happen again.
you "could" also cancel the sale and relist it once you have corrected your info.
If you feel that is necessary be sure to communicate with the buyer so they do not get upset.

OP4 days agoI don’t think they’ll return it and my gut feeling says to ship it, that’ll be okay. I already updated my address and will update my other listings here soon too. Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it.

·4 days agoif it is something of value, I would at least use a external generated label with the proper return address just in case of nondelivery, incomplete delivery address or carrier incompetence. that way it would it would simply be returned to the return address shown on the label.

OP4 days agoOr do you mean just cross out my old street address and replace with new street address, the zip code is the same but the suffix numbers after the dash are not the same

·4 days agoIn your sold/shipped items page, the tracking number is there, when you click on it you can then edit it or add another. you can change it however you like (as long as it has not been scanned or delivered), if the original label has not been scanned then you can go to shipping labels and cancel it, then you get a refund for it "eventually" it's not immediate takes a few days for it to be credited back.
