Ebay tells me my account nbr is a mismatch - mismatch to what ?
My bank account is a checking account. I've verified twice now with my bank the RI number and the account number. My name is listed on eBay exactly as it is on my bank account. I had the opportunity to speak with two of eBays customer service reps without any solution. Does anybody have an idea what is mismatched here ?

OP1 year agoI am set up with an individual account on eBay. My personal info matches on eBay with my financial cards and Bank records.
Again, I've tried to enter my bank account and now it's not a mismatch but it doesn't accept it and shows "it must match" but to what ? Under a different userID I had used the same bank account for years on eBay and there were no issues. Was my mistake to show a debit card - when it enables eBay to hold my money for days and then charge $2 for a speedy payout ?

·1 year agoAre you using the correct ACH routing number? Not necessarily the same number as your account number on your checks.

There are some banks and Credit Unions that don't work well with Ebay.

·1 year agoWhat is the name of your bank? For example some people think their Chime account is a regular bank but Chime is not a bank.
Is your eBay account personal or a business account?
Is your checking account personal or a business checking account? They need to match.

Your name and address must match exactly.
For example
123 Main St
is NOT the same as
123 Main Street

OP1 year agothe RI number is the routing indicator to identify the bank. I checked all my data again and can't find any discrepancies.
