Ebay Stealing
See. I had a couple of good orders day after another and eBay took it upon themselves to place a 5 day hold on my money. I had just concluded a 2 day hold for updating my payout methods. So 1 week total and Absolutely No Misconduct triggered it. Good conduct did. In the meanwhile, 4 of y bills tried to process my financial institution and bounced. Not to mention the effect it will have on my Credit...
It took tons of research up to get their Help line number. There's a section on the bottom area of the assistance page but when clicked on, it just sends me going back and forth India. They don't speak clearly for me to understand and definitely don't know our customs or culture here.I
It is Not okay to withhold funds. Their "policies" are Not Laws.
I am contacting the authorities omnight. And legal professionals too.

·2 years agoIt's a bit dramatic to call a payment hold stealing.
When you go 6 months without a sale then you're an infrequent seller subject to a payment hold.

·2 years agoIt takes time to update payout methods. We have all been there. Banks, of course don't do any updating on Saturday-Sunday-today(Monday)holiday. So this will hold you back a few days.
When the "processing funds" are released...they go into "available funds"...and finally the funds are released depending what days you scheduled for funds to be released. Its a process of course.
I have "Instant Payouts" which I signed up for so my funds come in like 2 days or less around 8PM.
Once you get the hang of it its pretty easy.

·2 years agoSeller holds are decided by the site you are on. There is no law against them holding your $$ if it is in their 'policies', which it is and you approved by simply using the site.
