Ebay said there was problem with payment but still charged my card twice

Hi, I wanted to buy a 3DS but I couldn’t check out because Ebay said there was a problem with my payment. I thought that maybe I put in a wrong number or something, so I did it again and got the same result. When I click on my purchase history, it is completely empty and I haven’t received an email confirming my purchase. Yet it still charged my card twice.

Contact your credit card issuer to determine whether you card was really charged or what you are seeing is an authorization, not a charge.

Ask your issuer whether the transaction completed without error, and if necessary open a dispute.

The easiest way to contact them is by the phone number on the back of your card, and you may have to ask for the security department.
