Ebay makes a Micro Deposit to verify my account, then withdraws more than they deposited.
Ebay deposited a total of 8 cents to verify my account, then withdrew 9 cents the same day.
What's up with that?

·3 years agoeBay says look for 2 small deposits in your transaction history. Maybe it was 8 cents and 1 cent for a total of 9 but the 1 cent deposit was missed by you.

OP3 years agoI figured it out. 8 days ago they deposited 8 cents and 1 cent. Then yesterday they deposited 7 cents and 1 cent, and withdrew the 9 cents from 8 days ago. I guess in the next few days they will withdraw the 8 cents they deposited yesterday.
They never notified me about the deposit 8 days ago, so I wasn't aware of it until I started looking into the matter.

·3 years agoTo make sure you have money in the account which is one cent. They will probably return the one cent to you. eBay usually does 2 micro deposits.
