eBay illegally withholding my funds over 90 days!!!
I have been getting the run around by several eBay help member teammates. From being lied to, to saying we will call back or email back confirmation etc of resolution or next steps to take with no contact back. Further I have requested call backs and eBay has since stopped calling, I have email confirmations saying my phone number isn’t valid etc even though it hasn’t changed in years. Updated to my wife phone number. Instant call back. Withheld funds in regards to TIN or SSD. Both of with have been the same in my 11 years with eBay. Has anyone else had similiar issues with funds being with held in amounts over $10,000 over 90 days. I provided all info requested by physical paperwork, email, and account. Have confirmed messages from team members saying they have my info and yet still have a red banner over my page. Has anyone started a class action lawsuit against eBay? Did you have to get a lawyer or team of lawyers involved? I can provide eBay transcript and photos needed.

·1 year agoclass action would be tough since we all agreed to arbitration by agreeing to ebay's seller agreement when we click on "list". Anyway, a class action lawsuit would need to come from a state's attorney general, and in the end we would all win free bold listings for a month or a free shipping coupon.
Ebay can and will hold your money for as long as they feel is necessary, and that could be beyond a charge back period of 6 months. And it isn't all because of you, you could have sold to a buyer that does an unusual amount of returns or has initiated a charge back in the last 6 months. For expensive items sold, eBay is more cautious.

·1 year agoWith all your complaints of items not as described, its not surprising that Ebay would hold your funds. They want to make sure that buyer gets exactly what your listing described. And with Ebays 30 MBG, they prefer that any refund comes out of your pocket, not theirs. You can expect your funds to be held for at least 30 days.

·1 year agoYour feedback is a bit low. Too many negs for the same reasons. eBay has never disclosed how or on what they base their holds but, I would try and get that feedback higher. Not saying that is the cause but it's low and should be addressed.
