eBay has my wrong checking account info but I’m somehow still receiving payments until today
Today I received a message from eBay asking me to “update my account details†and my payouts are on hold until I do so. I go to verify my checking account information and the 4 last digits that eBay has is not the same as my account number last 4 digits. Obviously it won’t let me confirm the account due to the last 4 digits don’t match. However all of my sales are still being deposited into my checking account. I can’t get the account info to verify so as of my latest sale, today, it won’t process until I the checking account verified. eBay app and desktop version won’t let me change/remove the account that doesn’t match my checking account. I don’t know why or what else to do at this point. I have called and talked to 2 different eBay customer representatives this afternoon. At this time I’m now waiting til Monday to hear back from eBay and their IT department. Has anyone else had this similar issue? I’d appreciate any help at all.

·2 years agoDid you get this resolved because I am having a similar issue where I have no idea how the bank info on my account got there! No way to fix since I don't even know what account they have.. isn't mine..

A mod is likely to close this thread to age even though you have a valid reply. When that happens please make your own thread. You will likely ebay to call Ebay support via the Help and Contact at the top of your ebay.com homepage. You setup a callback through the system.

·2 years agoSame exact thing happened to me on the same exact date apparently because now all of my available funds are being held until I verify or update my banking account information. The problem is is that I have been receiving funds with no problem and payouts with no problem up until now. I go to look at the information that eBay has and I see that it has Chase Bank but the last 4 digits is not my Chase bank account. Somehow eBay has mixed up my old Bank information with my new bank information and I am unable to correct it because they will not accept the correct numbers
