Case closed Total payout amount less then released funds?
Sold an item -shipped out promptly. But because of weather issues it was taking forever for the package to arrive at buyers address. So buyer opened a case and my payout was put on hold. When tracking showed Ebay the package had been delivered Ebay released my held funds. The amount that was released was $53.95 but they say that my Total Payout is $8.52. "$8.52 was sent to your bank account" (Not yet received in bank account as judgement was only made yesterday). I don't know how much Ebay took out in fees, the shipping was $4.95...but even after all that has been subtracted why in the world would I only be getting $8.52 from this transaction/sale? I know there has to be a reason...Thanks for any help.

$53.95 is being held, probably for up to 30 days. It might be released if the buyer leaves feedback but that's not a given.

It looks like you're a fairly new seller who hasn't been actively selling for several months. Although you've made a number of sales in the past month, there was little selling activity prior to 6 months ago or longer.
That makes you a "new or infrequent seller" in ebay's eyes and they may be holding the bulk of your funds for 30 days.
Even though tracking shows delivery, the buyer has 30 days after delivery to file a claim and ebay wants to make sure your funds are available in the event of a refund.
