For the first time in about 3 years I SOLD an item on Ebay. I was used to getting my payments via PayPal, and soon found out they wanted my banking information instead. I'm not willing to give them that information.I called customer service and was told there was no way they could give me my money without a bank account. They suggested I open one just for Ebay. I'm not interested in doing that, because of this new policy I will no longer be using Ebay, and I'm not opening an account just to receive one small payment. The agent agreed with me that they cannot legally keep my money, and the only solution is to wait THREE YEARS when ebay will turn the money over to the govt as "unclaimed." I will have to get it from the US government at that time. **bleep**? They can't write a check? It's not UNCLAIMED.
