Cannot get Agent to talk with problem
Trying to pay for item which arrived 1 1/2 month late when purchased was refunded. AI is too stupid to process my question or request to connect to an Agent who can actually help.
Any suggestions are apprecitated

·8 months agoIf you still have the return address, you can contact the seller. You can then send a snail mail payment. But, first get a reply so you know it's the correct address. Great you still want to pay for the item. eBay can't / won't help as it's beyond their time limit and they consider it closed.

OP8 months agoSad to say that automation has lost the ability to do the right things. Appreciate the comments. It's simply not right. To have an AI agent which does not ( even after 3 or 4 times typing 'agent' ) does not work anymore.

Contact the seller and work out repayment details.
There's nothing CS can/will do, the case is closed.

·8 months agoJust keep tying the word “ agent†after about 2 or 3 AI replies , it gives you the option have ebay call you.

Some sellers block a buyer after a refund.
Thus, the seller will not get emails from the blocked buyer.

·8 months agoEbay is out of the picture. When you received the refund, the transaction was closed. If you want to pay for the item you need to handle all that on your own, it is no longer an eBay matter

·8 months agoThere is no way for Ebay to help you to repay a refund. This is not an AI failure, no Ebay agent can help.
You will need to contact the seller and arrange a method which is mutually agreeable.
