buyer wants to change payment method
Hi I have a buyer who paid for an item but now wants to use a different account to pay for his purchase, how do I handle this? Thank you!

·3 years agoI had a buyer tell me that same thing. Said they would buy again after the cancellation. So I cancelled stating buyer request, I never heard from that buyer again.

·4 years agoOnce they hit that pay button the payment is taken from the method they selected. Too late to switch payments. If the payment is accepted and eBay says paid awaiting shipment it's too late.

·3 years agoThanks for posting this question. I just had the same thing happen! I thought I could cancel the order and refund the buyer, but then the item would go back into auction. I'm sure I could resell the item, but the buyer waited 4 day after winning the auction to actually pay for it. I plan to tell the buyer I have no control over changing which payment method they used. I will post again if I get any more helpful information.
