Bank account suspended
We had been selling products through our eBay store for three years. Then, a year ago, they suspended our bank account, and we still don't know why. Unfortunately, even an 'eBay expert' can't figure out what the problem might be.
It is incredibly frustrating that after investing so much effort, time, and money into this online platform, they can just pull the rug out from under us and simply shrug their shoulders. I wouldn't recommend anyone in 2026 to waste their time on this risky joke of a platform.

Are you sure it's your BANK account that was suspended? Or was it your Ebay account that was restricted and prevented from being a seller?
The latter is my guess.

OP5 months agoI apologize, I might not have expressed myself clearly. A year ago, eBay requested that we re-verify our banking details. We completed this and uploaded the bank statements, but we have been stuck in a loop ever since. We have tried with two different bank accounts, but for some reason, eBay is unable to accept them. What’s strange is that the system was able to deduct our fees from the very same account without any issues.

·5 months agoIf the bank closed your account, eBay has nothing to do with it. AS said YOU need to contact your bank, the reasons would have been given to you by YOUR bank when the account was closed. When it was closed it was up to you to update your information on eBay.
The OP is in Hungary not the USA so if this was indeed a bank account removal by eBay, this needs to be handled over there not on the eBay.com USA site where they are now posting.
Their setup and handling of such matters will be different then here in the USA.
Try asking on your home community forums and be sure to add the information of "WHOM" the account was closed by the bank or eBay.
