Account Status/Unable to print shipping labels/payouts on hold???
I have a pending refund for an item that I was unable to ship to a customer. As soon as I realized that the item was too large to ship (I am new at this), I contacted the customer and told her the situation with no response for several days. I contact her again, just to see if I could get a response in how to proceed and she replies that she wants a refund. I tried issuing a refund, and ebay wouldn't allow me to refund with my own funds and there was enough funds to process the refund. Now, the buyer has opened an INR claim and I'm still unable to give a refund and also unable to do anything but basically make money for ebay and screw myself. So, I can make sales, can't ship them...and I can list items but never get paid??? This is somewhat ridiculous considering I've gotten NO COMMUNICATION from ebay. No message nothing except a red banner on my payout page saying my account is on hold until further details are looked into (something like that). Anyone else know what the heck is happening? Oh, and it says 5 days for them to get these details and it's been days, no communication as to what they want/need. I'm at a loss at this point.

·11 months agoyour account should have a backup payment method attached bank account/credit card, so you should be able to make a refund no matter what the case is. If ebay is holding your sales funds, then there is nothing you can do about that until your account issue is resolved.
when you are a new seller ebay has you on a tight-rope, any little mistake can be catastrophic.

·11 months agoYou should have just canceled the transaction and the refund would have been automatic. But if you have funds pending, and no funds in your account, the refund will come from your payment source, debit card, cc, checking account. You are not 'making money for Ebay,' when your funds clear, you will receive them. You have several complaints of inr, and canceled transactions, have you checked your dashboard for defects? That can affect payment holds too.
