USPS/Buyer returns item
The buyer paid for the item. I mail the package two weeks ago. The item was returned today because the buyer has a problem with his address or didn’t pickup. Now he wants that I send it again. What should I do? The transaction on eBay It is marked as successful.

·1 month ago · EditedWhy are people telling you to refund the buyer? eBay does not require you to refund the buyer. You for sure do not want them to open a return or INR.
It is on the buyer that they either put in the wrong address or did not pick it up. I strongly recommend you inform the buyer of this, relist the item, and allow them to repurchase if they would like. I would not refund unless you want to keep dealing with an idiot.

·1 month agoNot required. But the right thing to do. You know. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,........

·1 month agoIf I messed up my address or was too lazy to go get my package, I would never expect a seller to refund me or work with me. I would apologize to them for being a problem, and I would rebuy the item if I still wanted it.
The right thing to do would be for the buyer to take personal responsibility.

·1 month agoI would refund in full and tell the buyer to reorder with a correct address.
Some sellers would not refund the shipping/
Few sellers would ship to any address other than the one in the order/

OP1 month agoThank you for your reply,
However, in order to refund the buyer he would have to select that the package was not delivered, right?
Or, how else would I be able to refund the buyer if the status of the order states that the package was delivered?

·1 month agoRefund the buyer less the original shipping charges. Explain to the buyer what the issue was. Relist the item and tell the buyer they can buy it again but be sure they have the correct address.
