Two high valued vintage computers returned same day severely damaged and un-resalable | Part time sellers

I am an eBay hobby seller, mostly selling restored vintage computers and other electronics. I just received two returns this same day, and was very sad to find out that both were severely damaged and rendered them no longer salable. The damages look unnatural and probably intentional. Am I the unluckiest part time seller on eBay? Anything I can do to prevent this from happening again in the future?
