Im not a new seller?
so i havent been on ebay in forever to sell anything, when I started selling back in 2012 I sold some comicon stuff. then I moved to canada, used ebay very rarely up there. then moved back
having issues,
first my ebay keeps defaulting back to ebay.ca
also, theres no record of anything Ive ever sold or bought on my account
so I go to sell a collectible today and it says im a new seller, no bank info, and Im capped at 200 Canadian...Im not in canada

This account that you are currently using, was registered in July 2017, on eBay Canada. There is no feedback received on this account for selling anything; there are only 4 feedbacks that were received for buying.
It would appear that you created a new account while you were in Canada. If you can remember the email address that you used for the old account that you used back in 2012, then you can try logging in with the email address instead of the user ID, and see if you can recover it. However, if you haven't used the account since then, it may have been shut down.
Unless you still have a bank account and address in Canada, you should probably end your current listing. Since you have started selling while your registered address is in Canada, you would need to register for managed payments on eBay Canada, with an address and bank account there, or you can't be paid. You probably don't want to have the money from that expensive item tied up where you can't access it.
If you can't recover your former account, as I described above, then you may need to create a new account with a registered address in the USA in order to register for managed payments in the USA. Once you have started to sell in one country, you can't change the account to sell in a different country, because the country of residence determines where your income tax liability is. So if you started selling or tried to sell in a different country, then you can't change the country for your registered address.

·3 years agoIf you have not taken the time to just browse all the "hidden" spots in you account I would do that first to familiarize yourself with ebay. I am in the same boat to returning to ebay after not selling on here for a while and have found that they have moved and changed things. Go through and try to make sure all you information is current. After that i would try and contact a actual person from ebay to help with the account.
