Fed up with ebay Payout Policies
Is anyone else fed up with ebay holding your sales money for 24 to 48 hours before its deposited in your bank account.
I am in the Daily Payout option.
I sold an item on July 16th.
I was notified July 17 th my money will be in my bank account.
And it was not sent at all.
Now im being notified that the
July 18th my sales money will be paid .
That is not daily , it was sold on July 16th
July 17 th is daily
Not July 18th.
In the mean time I jump through hoops to print a ship label and run to the USPS and ship the merchandise on the date of sale July 16th
NO MORE
And im asking other sellers to hold shipping sales until ebay processes your payout and it appears in your bank account.
And BTW ebay charges sellers $2.00 to have your sales money deposited daily .
And 48 hrs later im still waiting for my sales money.
This is unfair to sellers and ebay is clearly leaning toward buyers with un equal bias and telling sellers to bad wait .
Please give your opinion here and take a stand that if you are in the Daily Payout Option and paying $2.00 to recieve your money Daily dont ship the item until your earnings are posted to and into you bank accounts.
There is no reason once a buyer pays you for your item that it is not deposited in 24 hrs to your bank account !
I am personally posting on all my sales listing this is my policy that once the payment is recieved I will ship the merchandise.
If the buyer isn't in agreement on the policy they should ask ebay that why after they buy an item that the seller is not getting paid immediately ?

I'm on daily pay outs and it doesn't cost me anything when they send the funds.
If they just paid yesterday, it takes a little time before Ebay receives the money, it's not instant like some think.

And daily is not 48 hrs later.
And I've been with ebay 20yrs
And it use to never be an issue back in the day you got paid immediately.
Im not the only one ,read the other posts.
And no one can report you for not shipping , if you have not been paid.

·1 year agoThat $2 fee was supposed to be for 'instant' or 'fast' or something of that nature. Like @kensgiftshop , I've never paid that fee and I get paid 2-3 days after a sale with money in bank.
Typical is on Monday it will show $500 sent. That $500 is in my bank either later that same day or the next day. Seldom does it even take 2 days, but that varies per each 'bank' from what I've seen/read.

·1 year agoDaily does NOT mean 'in 1 day!!' It means 'daily' vs some people opted to get weekly (once a week) or once a month etc. (plus it does NOT include weekends, holidays etc.)
If you sell on 16th, and they deposit on the 17th, then it takes another day or 2 (depends on YOUR bank) for it to actually show up.
Only been this way for the past 5 years.

I have zero issues getting payouts.
Your TOS on your listings do nothing except hurt you.
eBays policy is you ship when they say to ship and within your handling times.
Your "im not shipping till eBay pays me" only makes you look bad AND could make buyers report you for not shipping.
eBays policies are all there to read and follow. It doesnt matter if you think they are unfair.
You could start your own website and make it fair.
