1° that part guaranteed not to fit ' VICTIM '
Summary: malrob10 shared a situation about having a transmission that doesn't fit their vehicle, despite initially appearing to be a good deal. The seller has agreed to a refund, but only if malrob10 pays for shipping, which exceeds the value of the item. malrob10 is considering reselling the transmission but faces challenges due to the lack of purchase records on the platform. janet9988 advised that listings older than three years aren't available, suggesting starting a new listing.
I have an aisin transaxle sitting in my backyard that supposedly works and it has been sitting here for over 3 years now ; it is for a fwd. suv. I type up the specific make, model, year and engine and the platform automatically notified you if that part will fit, and if it does not, the page it highlighted in red, and the platform will not let you proceed to check out. Noticing is significant price drop with the transmission that is guaranteed to fit my vehicle, with all green lights included ( the page highlights in green and you can proceed to check out) I think I'm a lucky man to have found a working transmission for under more than half the price everywhere else on the market. Now there is 48 hours left till the money back guaranteed is null and void ( I still haven't read the refund policy yet) I noticed that there is no record of me purchasing the transmission and my recent purchases on the eBay platform, all I have is do the seat my credit card account and my email notification from Gmail via my credit card holder. Seller says no problem don't take it back and give me my money back I just have to pay for shipping (it cost more to ship it then what it's worth) before this concession, I asked the supplier to just give me one that does fit since this one was supposed to fit, now he admits he doesn't have one that fits my vehicle. Now for the good part, I really would like to resell this item, even if it's for 50 bucks. Problem is there's no record of it on the platform so I can't hit the resale this item button.

·1 month agoI've sold some vintage car parts, but never anything that big. Most of the car parts have a part number on them. It is probably stamped or engraved on the part. I would type the number in eBays search engine and see what pops up. There may be a description on eBay, or somewhere else on the internet, of an identical item.
