PLEASE HELP GET MY MONEY BACK

Dear all: I need your help. I recently paid for an item after back and forth texting with a seller. He finally agreed to the sale but I couldn't pay him through Ebay at the time. He then asked me to pay through PayPal, bypassing Ebay. I researched this practice and found out it was not advisable. He then agreed to get pay the original way. I paid through Ebay and got an email saying the item had been sent. However, there is no tracking number in the email! My bank has paid for the item and I have yet to receive it. The seller has stopped answering my texts and emails. On top of this, the purchase does NOT show on my account, ANYWHERE! I realize I might been taken but can't find a way to file an Ebay complaint since there is no purchase history. Can anyone tell me what to do, please? Thank you kindly.

If you paid as a guest, you would have received an email and will need to use this to file a Not Received case-

·3 days agoDo you have the email? Does it have an order number?
We can't look up order numbers, but if it's formatted wrong that could be a clue that the seller faked it, or if not, there's a help page where you can look it up in case you were logged out and didn't realize you ordered as a guest.
