New Condition Requirements for Fashion Categories?
356 items could not be listed in the Fashion category yesterday evening. The error message was:
<ShortMessage>Bitte verwenden Sie die neuen Bedingungen und Beschreibungen zur Bewertung des Zustands.</ShortMessage>
<LongMessage>Die Aspekte Bewertung, Grader und Kartenzustand entfallen bald. Bitte verwenden Sie die neuen Bedingungen und Beschreibungen zur Bewertung des Zustands.</LongMessage>
<ErrorCode>21920370</ErrorCode>
<SeverityCode>Warning</SeverityCode>
<ErrorClassification>RequestError</ErrorClassification>
I assume that this refers to the new ConditionDescriptors container. However, get_item_condition_policies returns the following for category 63863, for example:
[itemConditionPolicies] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [categoryTreeId] => 77 [categoryId] => 63863 [itemConditionRequired] => 1 [itemConditions] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [conditionId] => 1000 [conditionDescription] => Neu mit Etikett [conditionHelpText] => Brandneu, ungetragen, mit Etiketten oder in Originalverpackung. ) [1] => Array ( [conditionId] => 1500 [conditionDescription] => Neu ohne Etikett [conditionHelpText] => Brandneu und ungetragen ohne Etikett oder Originalverpackung. ) [2] => Array ( [conditionId] => 1750 [conditionDescription] => Neu mit Mängeln [conditionHelpText] => Ungetragen, aber mit sichtbaren Mängeln. ) [3] => Array ( [conditionId] => 2990 [conditionDescription] => Gebraucht - Hervorragend [conditionHelpText] => Wie neu, bereits getragen, aber nur mit wenigen oder keinen Gebrauchsspuren. ) [4] => Array ( [conditionId] => 3000 [conditionDescription] => Gebraucht - Gut [conditionHelpText] => Leichte Gebrauchsspuren und/oder sichtbare Mängel. ) [5] => Array ( [conditionId] => 3010 [conditionDescription] => Gebraucht - Akzeptabel [conditionHelpText] => Deutlich sichtbare Mängel, starke Gebrauchsspuren und/oder fehlende oder beschädigte Teile. ) ) ) )
So, no data regarding the conditionDescriptors.
Does anyone have an idea of what else needs to be specified so that the items can be listed?

OP4 months agoThe error has not recurred. Therefore, it was merely a temporary issue.
In the meantime, the 'VerifyAddItem' function appears to be comparing the item against itself, issuing a warning that this listing already exists.
Last night, the 'ReviseFixedPriceItem' function encountered the same problem, it resulted in an actual error.
<ShortMessage>Das Angebot verstößt gegen den Grundsatz zum Einstellen mehrerer identischer Angebote.</ShortMessage>
Logically, a listing is considered "active" when its quantity is being revised.
Hopefully, these issues will be resolved in the near future. The eBay system is undoubtedly very complex, but more thorough testing should have identified these problems beforehand.
