My application for the eBay Developers Program was recently rejected, and I’m hoping someone from the developer team or community might be able to help clarify why. I’m currently a student working on a programming project that involves building a tool to analyze marketplace listings using the official eBay APIs. The goal of the project is to learn more about API integration, marketplace data structures, and software engineering practices. I submitted my developer account application so I could access the standard APIs, but it appears to have been automatically rejected. I believe this may have been a mistake, as my intended use is purely for educational and development purposes. If anyone from the developer support team could review my application or advise on what might have caused the rejection, I would really appreciate it.
