Will Ebay now contact a NEW seller
I haven't listed on ebay in some years, however I recently started to help a NEW seller, get some things online. They mentioned that someone from ebay had contacted them (from Utah), to see if they could be of any assistance. The person I am helping list, said they called out information about the account, but did not have to give any personal information to "ebay" but did agree to the things this "ebay" called out to him. ..said they listened for a long while about what we are listing etc, and was also going to check with a company group to help us find the best category, we may be needing to list a particular item in. The only 1 thing he asked this "ebay" was about the watchers, and viewers, which this "ebay" could not see the information, as he said it is only shown to us ( i am a permissioned accessible user) . what do y'all think, was this a scammer/hacker? Or does Ebay now make outgoing calls to help new sellers?

·3 years agoWhen I first came back, Haily msg'ed me, to make sure I was all good, and gave me some great pointers on the changes. She also looked at my listing for about a month, and let me know where I screwed up, so I wouldn't get dinged.

·3 years agoI got a call from Ebay a few years ago about something new and wanted to now If I would be interested in trying it out.
He explained everything and told me to be watching for it to come out.
I had already heard about it before then.
Didn't have to give any personal or account information.
That was a few years ago, so I don't know if they still call some sellers or not?
