Why I would never use eBay if I had the chance not to! Extremely disappointed with the Support!
- I do not expect (I do not want to get the money after all the time wasted with you) to receive my money back. Please, do not promise or waste my time. I have received dozens of promises and never got my money back.
- The purpose of this post is to reach the Management and see how my case has been handled since November 2024.
- Then I want the Management to realize that they lost me as a client for £4.39 and I have been registered for more than 14 years. Shame on you, eBay! You are a disgrace!

My complete story is below:
1. On 19.11.2024 at 21:15 I got an e-mail with Email reference ID: [#7d2b4fa37a9b4a90b1bcf8efd54f4***#] that I can request my money back in amount of -£4.39 by 19.12.2024.

2. I did request my money back on the same day and Franzle Kier told me that I need to wait and to request my money after 19th December.
I was told:
Then the credit is still not being posted and if it is not posted until the 19th of Dec you need to contact us back again for us to credit the fee

3. On the 20th December 2024 I was told by Jeffrey Jorge:
Alright, I want to thank you for your patience. At the moment I sent your account to be check by our back office team. They will take it from there since they will further check on that email and the amount that email stated you had due in the account.
For this matter, please allow an notification within 5-7 days via email.

4. I have another ticket SR# 1-489324201*** from 2025-01-03 where I had a chat with Subhajit, who told me:
I have reviewed your account and found that the issue on your account requires the attention of the relevant team who is specialised to help our members in such cases.
What I’ll do now is escalate the issue on your behalf, so you won’t have to email them. They will get back to you with the best possible resolution via email.
They will get back to you via email in 48-72 business hours. However, they may contact you much earlier

5. I got in touch again with eBay on 2025-01-10 and Moabenla tried to help me unsuccessfully and told me to wait again. Ticket: SR# 1-489553781***
I apologise but as I have already marked the complaint for this issue, there is no reference id for the complaint.

CONCLUSION:
- I have an e-mail: Email reference ID that I received from eBay: [#7d2b4fa37a9b4a90b1bcf8efd54f4***#] confirming that this credit belongs to me. This is my own money!
- I also have an invoice number 083124-10774008870*** that confirms black on white that I have a negative balance of -£4.39.
- The rest of the communication was held with different agents over e-mail: customerhelp_uk@ebay.com. Had a chat with Moabenla, Francis C., Priya L., Keviseno L., Kamlesh K. who all said that the issue will be resolved and will get my money back and I had to wait. Never heard back from them. At the end, when I provided them with the invoice, eBay stopped replying back to my e-mails. This is a joke and such a waste!

To conclude: You, eBay, will never have my business and I would never, ever use your services again! I really hope that £4.39 will make your company richer and more successful but the fact is that you lost me as a client over £4.39, which is a shame!

I have one final request: I do not want this money any longer, but want to be sure that this post will reach your management. I want the eBay management to know how my case has been handled. How could I be sure that this would happen?

The CS there is a lot better then chat or the phone reps.

OP1 year agoUnfortunately I already tried this, @kensgiftshop. I was offered a voucher code that never worked ... they were helpless as well, but at least did not waste so much time, compared to the Chat/E-Mail support and those are the ones that I want to escalate now.
