switching or upgrading my account to a store
I already have an account( not a store though) and thought I would switch to a store. Will all my items move over to the new store. Cause it is asking me for a store name. I go under Brendas Closet. Thanks

OP1 year agoOkay I’m sorry for the questions. So what’s going to happen is I’ll create a store name. Then the Brenda’s Closet will no longer exist but my items will move to my store name.
O’ lord eBay didn’t make this easy.

·1 year agoYour regular original eBay user ID will not be affected. The store ID is a separate name.

·1 year agoYes, all of your active listings will automatically be in your Store. Your feedback history, watchers, etc. will carry over, too.

OP1 year agoBut when it wants to know the name of the I want on the store it comes back and reads another member already has that. But I don’t have a store.

·1 year agoThe eBay bot apparently thinks that your chosen name is too similar to a store name that's already in use. You'll have to come up with a variation that the bot will accept.
