Selling From Pakistan
I've registered my eBay account with Pakistani details. My intention is to sell from Pakistan within the US Marketplace and ship items from the USA to the USA, stating the item location as the USA. I also have a warehouse in the USA for shipping purposes.
However, upon clicking the 'sell' button, an error message is appearing.
"You are based in Pakistan, and the item location of this listing is outside of Pakistan.
All eBay accounts registered by users based in Pakistan will need to apply for approval to use forward-deployed inventory (i.e., where your item is shipped from an overseas warehouse to a buyer in a country that is different from where you are located). For more information, please see our Item location policy.
If you would like to apply for approval to use forward-deployed inventory, please submit your application for approval at pksl@ebay.com. Your application will be considered based on the information provided."

·2 years agoUSPS does NOT ship from Pakistan.
The true item location is required on listings.

·2 years agoOP said he had a warehouse in the USA where his items are stored. What is wrong with giving an item location in the USA if it is stored in a warehouse in the USA? That is what "forward-deployed inventory" means.
The screenshot shows an item located in Pakistan. If that is correct, then what's the problem?
Yes, the shipping service is incorrect. That needs to be corrected.

·2 years agoThe OP is circumventing ebay policy by not giving the correct item location...
The OP is doing this to get around the "forward-deployed inventory" application and policy.

·2 years agoOr perhaps the item is located in Pakistan, and he made a mistake entering the shipping service. It can be very confusing for foreign sellers, because the only shipping services available are based in the USA.

·2 years ago@asif_estore,
Here is more information about eBay's Warehouse Service Standard for SEA (Southeast Asian) sellers who use Forward Deployed Inventory. I believe that you need to use a warehouse which meets eBay's standards for shipping speed and accuracy.

You will need to submit your application for approval to use this method, as the email said.

·2 years agoI have no way to know that. I am not in SE Asia. I thought the information on the page I linked to should help.
