Selling from New Zealand - shiiping set up
Hello,
I have checked few previous treads with same subject.
Looks like setup on ebay have changed since then.
There are no options to select shipping from New Zealand, every cost calculation table default to USA only.
Has anyone successfully created a listing and have sold from New Zealand?
Any advice how to set up shipping will be great.
Thanks.

·8 months agoYou need to find the option to show your shipping as "from Outside the US", you can only use Flat Rate shipping, the calculator will only work if you are based in the US using US shipping services.
This applies to any seller based outside the US but listing on .com

OP8 months agoThanks, but all tables in each subject defaults to US.
'Domestic' is all based on US settings and International shipping is the same.
Selecting flat rate could end up in trouble as shipping cost could change depending on distance.

·8 months agoThey are in New Zealand and attempting to sell to America, I can't imagine the shipping changes much from NZ to one part of America to another (if any).
Although wouldn't it be cheaper to list on ebay.au and sell to Australia instead? Doesn't most of the population clump up on one coast, seems like it would be easy to set prices there.

·8 months agoOf course it defaults to US for domestic as you're listing on .com so it thinks you're in the US.
For shipping from NZ you have to use 'ship from outside USA' and select a flat rate as Jimmy said. You just use your best guess and keep an eye on your rates.
It might be easier to list on .au

·8 months agoMy understanding is that if you scroll to the bottom of the shipping methods list, you’ll see the options for shipping from outside the US.

·8 months agoUnfortunately there is no eBay New Zealand, hasn’t been for many years. New Zealander’s are forced to list under eBay.com.
Do you have chat boards still in New Zealand? The only other suggestion I can make is to find a NZ listing that you can ‘copy’ their shipping from. 😟

·8 months agoHi there,
You reached EBAY.com Seller Chat Room here in the United States. If you log onto EBAY.co.NZ you will find all the information you need to setup your account.

OP8 months agoThere is no separate ebay.co.nz site, it defaults to ebay.com with US settings.
