·4 months agoSpices can be a problem to export and import without a lot of documentation to get it through customs.

·4 months agoI have no experience with shipping options that may be available in Tanzania.
Here are two options that might work for you, the obvious one is your postal service (https://www.posta.co.tz/) an alternative might be DHL (https://www.dhl.com/tz-en/home.html).
There may be other logistics companies in your Country but I can't help you find them.

·4 months agoSome crafts may use products which are agricultural materials. Spices are agricultural products. Some countries may prohibit the import of certain agricultural products and materials.
You will need to do research to determine which countries will permit the import of your offerings.
Importing and exporting requires learning many rules.

Shipping your crafts would probably be a bit easier to start with; there's a lot of safety precautions you need to take with spices, and some countries have special policies regarding if and where you can ship them.
I'd start out with Calculated shipping; this will make it so your shipping is priced based on the size of the package. You do need to know your package's dimensions and weight, so you should have a scale and measuring tape.
Make sure you package your crafts with enough padding. You don't want them to be crushed in transit. Especially if you have things like masks and baskets; those are really lovely, and you want to be sure they're protected.
I'd recommend starting shipping within your country, or even within Africa, to get an idea of how the post works, but if you're really eager to ship internationally, I'd try to learn the pros and cons of your local post services. Here in the US, we have three big ones, all with different pros and cons.
The main thing I'd be concerned with is that you might not have a hub you can ship to, so shipping might get a little expensive for the buyer, depending on where they are. In the US, Ebay has a center that we ship our international orders to, and then they ship it out of the country. I don't know if you'll have something exactly like that, but there should be a link somewhere for Tanzania's ebay forums, and I bet the people there would love to help you!

This is the US .com site.
In the US sellers can ship however they want as long as it gets to the buyer as described.
You need to research what options are available in Tanzania for foreign shipments.
