Sell Game Save Data?
Hello, I wanted to know if it is allowed to sell game save data on eBay
I have several DS games that are 100% over and I wanted to know if I could sell the saves as a downloadable item.
Obviously not including the game or anything related to piracy, I was reading some articles and couldn't find an answer.
And if the answer is yes, how could I do it?

As bad as those who want to BUY digital game items without having to actually 'earn' them.

Tagging on with @heckofagame, Sell something else. Digitally delivered goods are somewhat prohibited. Mostly because you don't own them. You don't need the repercussions of selling someone else's copyrighted merchandise. It could get ugly and expensive.

·2 years agoYou should look up things like copyright, as an original work, speech, music, writings, software code fall under and lead to 'what is original'. Just because a game writes out the file 'saved', your specific motions in the game may lend to an original work. Is the 'saved' item readable?
Another avenue to search might be 'Fair Use Doctrine' and with that education isn't free.
This is not saying to violate any eBay rules or laws, this is asking if you are asking the right question.
