@soh.maryl The "rewards" category to which the OP may be referring, is to be found by clicking on the OP's name, and then clicking on "View Profile" -- one of the categories that shows up is labeled "Rewards," which vaguely refers to "Badges" -- so perhaps eBay is going to revive the "Badge" rewards system again, after scrubbing all of us from our previous badges after June 17, with the new eBay Community Boards.
"Rewards"? Perhaps you've misunderstood these forums. All of the people who reply to messages here are fellow eBay buyers and sellers who volunteer their time here to help others if possible. The only reward is when someone who's asked a question returns and says "thank you". That's more than enough for us.
I didnt misunderstand anything. I just thought it was odd that i didnt have the authority to view the rewards. Kinda seemed odd that Rewards would be hidden from normal users.

The way it used to work was by the "helpful" votes from other eBay sellers and buyers -- not by the amount of comments you supplied.
So if those who read your comments don't believe that you are being "helpful," you won't receive many votes, and your vote totals won't be rewarded.
