Request for Guidance: eBay Seller Account Restoration
Dear eBay Community Members,
I need some help and information regarding my eBay seller account, which was restricted on January 20, 2024, evaluation due to high SNAD (Significantly Not As Described) and INR (Item Not Received) rates.
I have contacted eBay customer service three or four times to understand how to restore my account. Unfortunately, the responses have been inconsistent. Some representatives stated that my account is permanently restricted, while others mentioned that my account is restricted due to the high SNAD and INR rates and that the decision cannot be appealed.
However, my Seller Hub is still accessible and displaying all information. Previously, a message on my financial summary page stated, "You do not have upcoming payouts because your eBay seller account is currently restricted. Once your account is reinstated, you will start getting paid." A few days ago, I noticed that this message disappeared, so I assumed my account might have been restored. However, when I tried to list a product today, I received a message saying, "Your account is currently limited due to suspicious activity. {e223559-1139141x}."
Additionally, eBay has been charging me the monthly starter store fees as usual since my eBay seller account is restricted from February 2024 to July 2024.
I would appreciate any assistance from the honorable eBay community members. Your suggestions and detailed information on the necessary steps to restore my account would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,

·2 years agoIf you have any money being Held, it will be used to pay your Store subscription until it is all gone.
End your Store subscription as soon as possible. Before midnight tonight.
If you subcribed using the cheaper annual rate, there will be a service fee for closing the Store early. That is cheaper than paying another year's worth of monthly fees for a Store you cannot use.
You are still allowed to buy on eBay, which is another reason your account has not been closed.
You are just not allowed to sell here.

They are essentially saying the same thing.

OP2 years agoDear buyselljack2016,
Thank you for your reply.
I agree that the eBay customer service representatives have been consistent in their responses. However, according to eBay's new SNAD, INR, and BBE policies, eBay does not state that any seller's account will be permanently restricted. If you thoroughly review eBay's new policies, it is mentioned that once the INR, BBE, and SNAD ratings meet eBay's standards, the seller account will be reinstated.
Additionally, my Seller Hub is still accessible and displaying all information. eBay has been charging me the monthly starter store fees as usual from February 2024 to July 2024, despite my account being restricted. If my eBay account were permanently restricted, as some eBay customer service representatives have indicated, I believe eBay would not continue to charge these fees, as their policies are very fair compared to other e-commerce websites.
I believe there must be steps I can take to restore my eBay seller account.
Thank you,

·2 years agoWhen they say permanently suspended, that's what they mean.
You'll have to find another place to sell.
As long as you keep your store subscription active, they'll keep charging you and they don't care if you can sell or not.
End your store subscription.

·2 years agoYes ebay would continue to do so...they are making money off of you and they are not about to cancel your store subscription.
That is something you can do.
