Posted Sold Amounts
Hi I'm a Senior new to Ebay and trying to figure out what amount I should post my items for sale.
Not knowing what to post, is this example Sold Amount the actual amount or is it what was listed for the item.
Was this card actually sold for $27,500.00 as shown here:

·1 year agoThis card was sold for $650 + $50 shipping, which I think is a reasonable price for such a rare card. A proper price evaluation puts buyers' trust in you, so don't set a price that is not in line with the market, whether low or high, so that the price is realistic and completely appropriate. Regards

Hi I'm a Senior new to Ebay and trying to figure out what amount I should post my items for sale.
Sometimes the sold price is not accurate (sometimes asking price is shown rather than accepted offer prices), other times the items were "sold" but never paid for or canceled. eBay offers sellers a research tool that offers more accurate pricing then just finding sold items through normal eBay search.
The tools is:
Terapeak Product Research - eBay Seller Hub
I can find no record of this sale for $27,500 using the eBay Terapeak tool.
You should use the eBay Terapeak tool to get a general idea of pricing and then look at what your competitors are currently asking and recent selling prices to determine your asking price.
