Need help listing /selling items on eBay
I need help listing and maybe selling my gently used and unused women’s clothing, accessories and jewelry. The “Selling assistant†program is discontinued and I’m looking into multiple alternative options. Please message me directly for details. Thank you

You may or may not know that women's clothing is one of the most saturated categories on eBay. Yes, the trading assistant program was ended some years ago. May I ask what "multiple alternative options" you're exploring?

·1 year agoMy advice is to jump in & list your best stuff as you have already done a few so you know how & have the account set up already, but I would ditch the AI descriptions.

·1 year agoHiring a local high school student at an hourly rate is probably the best alternative available to you. Do all of the financial dealings yourself, but the student should be able to master the mechanics of listing for you.

·1 year agoA selling assistant will be tough to find. Probably be better to continue doing that yourself. There is not a lot of money in used clothing and a saturated category.

·1 year agoI recommend holding on to the items for a year to see if tariffs give them any value. At present clothing is an oversaturated market. You can buy used clothing for pennies on the dollar and if you're poor can even find it for free. There is likely enough clothing on the planet to last until Armageddon.

This is a tough situation, because any seller taking on your items will be on the hook for returns, ebay seller fees, IRS reporting, and more, in consigning your items. I doubt you'll find a seller willing to jeopardize their account by doing so, and if you do, rest assured they'll want a big percentage of the profit. I agree with @mtgraves7984 , you'd be better off selling them locally.

·1 year agoYou should contact someone in your local area to teach you how you can sell items yourself on EBAY. Seller do not have to sell "other people's item" because we would get stuff with your tax liability.
If you decide to sell on EBAY you will be required to provide your checking account# and your social security# (for income tax purposes).
Easiest solution would be to have a yard sale or advertise your items on Facebook which is very easy to do.
