Name of my location address is wrong, its different village
Hi,
im started to sell on ebay and address, location where it is broken, its different village like 2 miles wrong. My shipping adress, when i receive item is right, my seller address is right in account setting.
However when i list the item, location is wrongly detected. My village has some postal code, for Czech republic, like near village, but its different village and it could be problem for buyer returns.
Namely its Czech postal code:
251 65
My village and main postal office our region is Ondrejov or Ondřejov with czech specific characters.
Near village is Zvanovice (location for my listing)
there are other village near with same postal code and same main post office Turkovice, Tremblaty
Ondrejov is sort of center of region, post office is here and its center of our national space research:

OP1 year agoWhen i try to change item location, im able to change it to right one in dialog after i select Update listing.. and after when i look on listing.. There is still old location, so eBay making some wrong autocorrection.
Other at least ebay on my primary machine is back in english, i have to try second computer, but when i tried third computer without any ebay login, when i got to ebay.com, im always redirected to cz.ebay.de .. its simply wrong some bad czech translation of german ebay..
If you pull some stats, you will discover that like 80% young people speak here english, but maybe 15% german..

If your address for your account is correct in all its places, it may be that the internet you use is showing you as from the other location.
My internet for example currently thinks I'm in a different state, let alone a different town. And we are talking several hundred miles different.
I don't usually think normally eBay locates you that way, but it may be using the internet as a way to locate you "accurately" even if its wrong. I do know that eBay associates IP addresses with accounts, so this might be the reason.
Probably not much you can do about it though. Not something I have seen asked before.
