Listing Question
How do I create a listing with 4 different items with 4 different prices? I have seen them done but I'm at a loss. I have tried listing with variations but it doesn't let me add different prices.
For example:
I want to list a sweatshirt, tshirt, tote and a mug all with the exact same design. The sweatshirts and tshirts have different sizes to choose from, the tote has different handle colors, the mugs have 3 sizes to choose from.
In the variations I chose sweatshirt, tshirt, tote and mugs for the first variation. Then I clicked on each variation and added sizes for the tops, handle colors for the tote and sizes for the mugs. What I'm having trouble with is adding prices?!
Can someone help please?

·11 months agoWell that stinks. Was hoping to just put all of these designs I’m about to list together. I have over 20 so far and they are all the same way. Sweatshirts, tshirt, tote and mug. So should I just do all the sweatshirts in one listing and they can pick size and design and then do the same with the other 3 items?

·11 months agoYes, that would be the way to go.
But if the designs are wildly different, you'll get better search placement by doing separate listings because your title is limited with key words.
Factor that in before you build your listings.
Like ... all cat designs on the same listing. Then all dog designs on a different listing.

·11 months agoWhen using variations the simpler the variation the more effective it will be.
The obvious variation based on size is usually the most effective. It brings all of the buyers for the item to the listing.
Color is often a bit less effective, but still worthwhile. Ebay buyers make their decision on whether to click through to visit your listing from the search result and are more likely to click through if the thumbnail they see is the color they want to buy.
Various schemes are used by sellers for purposes which are prohibited when there are too many listings for them to get views by price conscious buyers. There is a lowball which would be similar to what the listing you want to create has. When I encounter these listings in the search results, I usually stop thinking of buying the item on Ebay, and go elsewhere to shop.

Create a separate listing for the tshirt with variations for each size.
Create a separate listing for the tote bag with variations for the color.
Create a separate listing for the mug with variations for the capacity.

You also should put the size of the tshirt in the title, I would suggest you find room for that. There are words that are not important in some of your titles.
Note the gender and/or age group the shirts are for. Women's size M, Child side L, etch.

·11 months agoIt's called a "variations listing" but as others have mentioned, you shouldn't use that for what you want to do.
Even though they are the same design, because they are different items, they should be listed separately.

·11 months agoDon't even try doing it that way. Even if possible, it seems like something that would easily confuse a buyer trying to pick what they want.

·11 months agoSince those are not the same type of item, I would advise against a variation listing for that. Three of them will be miscategorized, because you’ll pick the category of one of them but be adding the others. I would create separate listings for each of those items.
