Listing issue
Hello. Quick question to anyone.
I'm trying to lists some items on ebay, using templates and variations. As much as I edited and improvised, I keep getting this notification below:
"The price in the listing is either invalid or below the minimum price of US $0.99."
Does anyone have same or similar issue when they put up an item on ebay? Is there a solution to this?
Any information or guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

·3 years agoYes, I'm having the same issue. And it seems it could be because I got what they refer to as a "defect", due to an issue a buyer had with me removing an item due to the fact it sold, before I was informed of his intention to buy it. It seems I can now not list an item with the "buy now" only feature as an only payment option. Please James, let me know if you figured out your issue...or if anyone else can let me know how to resolve this issue, so I can once again list items on the site. Thank you, guys, and gals.

I'm looking at your profile and it looks like you never sold before at least on this ID. Have you signed on for managed payments? If you're a new seller, that's the first thing you should do:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling/start-selling-ebay?id=4081
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/introducing-managed-payments-ebay?id=4795
Check out these links if you haven't signed on for managed payments and get the ball rolling so you can start selling.
Good luck.

Hate to ask the obvious but --
Are you listing the price as at least $0.99?
As you have read, eBay does not allow an auction to start at, or a buy-it-now listing for, less than 99 cents.
What happens when you enter the price as $1.00?
The advisability of starting any eBay auction at 99 cents has been discussed here on this board a LOT. If similar sold listings have ultimately sold for more than 99 cents, you might think it's a good strategy to start that low. The general advice for new sellers trying this strategy is -- Don't Do It !!!
Because the other side of that coin is that it might actually sell for only 99 cents. And when the buyer pays, you have to ship. And don't forget that eBay will keep their fees from the total price that the buyer paid.

·3 years agoThe 99-cent minimum applies only to fixed price listings. You can start an auction for a penny if you're feeling bold.

Thank you. Now that you have clarified this, I do recall seeing auctions that started for less than 99 cents.
I may have a case of the Mondays . . . . . . .

·3 years agoOk, so if I enter the 99 cent "starting price" (for a "buy it now" priced item) am I going to get stuck selling the item for that 99 cents, or for the buy it now price? Thanks

·3 years agoUsed a fixed price, but it now price with no best offers if you don't want to sell it for 99 cents. Cancelling a sale due to the fact you didn't get what you want can get you dismissed from Ebay for good.
Happy Selling.

Be sure that you have your decimals and cents entered accurately, i.e., a decimal period (not a comma) and two digits for cents.
