Incorrect shipping label & cost
Hello
Does anyone know if there is a customer service number? I did not realize the shipping entity I had on the Selling account was going to be closed on Sunday. I decided to cancel the shipping label and use the UPS Store for the shipping on Sunday. I paid for the item to be shipped but my account, which is in a "hold" status had a charge of $126.38 for shipping......the item cost me $20+ dollars to send. I would like to have Ebay remove that charge since the shipping label was never used.
So, I figure I need to speak with a Rep since the electronic messaging has not proven succesful.
Any insight would be appreciated.

·3 years agoThe buyer might not be happy about you changing the carrier.
Did you ask them if it was ok?

·3 years agoWhich "shipping entity" did you use? You can void an unused eBay postage label up to 5 days after purchase. Credit for a voided USPS label takes 2 - 3 weeks to show up because USPS won't approve it until they're sure that you really didn't use the label.

Note that there are some mis-statements in that Help page: eBay does not send you an email when a USPS credit is issued. And you'll have to pay for your UPS and FedEx labels if they are scanned into the system (even if not actually delivered).
