I sold an item but need help with a serious problem. eBay ai not able to help. Need a live agent
I have accidentally caused a problem with my first sale. I decided to revise the one listing I have for sale. I canceled the first listing, or I thought I did before creating a new listing. Now I have two paid sales for the same item.

Cancel the second order as out of stock.
Since your funds are being held, you'll have to provide a funding source to pay the refund.
When the hold is released, those funds will be sent to you.

·4 months agoEbay does not forgive cancelling an order, even though the buyer might forgive you.
No reason to contact Ebay. It is your job to minimize the effect on the customer, so advise the buyer of the order you are cancelling as soon as you can, and then cancel the order.

·4 months agoYa, you will have to cancel one of the orders. Nothing a live agent can help you with other than to say just that, "cancel one order". They don't have any power to make it better, you will get dinged for it

·4 months agoYou will need to cancel one sale as Out Of Stock.
You should apologize for the inconvenience and mistake to the 2nd buyer and cancel as OOS.
You will get a seller defect on your account and this will stay for a year.
Out of Stock cancelations is a big deal on eBay.
Many lose their right to sell here just for this reason.
You may also get Negative FB from the buyer you cancel with.
Before you cancel - You may want to try to source a 2nd item and buy it, even at a loss to you, and have it sent to the 2nd buyer - This is not really the way to do things but ...
