·3 years agoDefinitely use a solid color. You are using a granite counter and the dark spots make the clear games like if they are dirty or have a dark spot. Poster board is good. Otherwise, use a few sheets of white paper. Goodluck with your sales.

·3 years agoMaybe improve your photos a bit by using a free photo editor like Gimp. And use only a white background, just go out and buy some white poster board.

·3 years agoYou have a ton listed, unfortunately not everything will sell. Your focus is still pretty much one niche' with old school gaming. I have 100's of games for NES that are only worth about $3 a piece, but rarely sell so I haven't listed them at this point. They are just titles that no one is looking for. Even bundling them together won't help them sell as they are not sought after.
My main advice would be to try and spread out to other categories and items. Your goals are way too high given your focus. If it was 10-15 years ago it might have been more possible but still a very high bar to reach. Just keep trying, but realize when you list some items for so cheap you won't make anything and they probably aren't worth even listing. Keep on keeping on!

OP3 years agoThank you for the replies. My strategy is to list 30 a day until we can sell that many. I am quite new to selling and hoping for some turnover to purchase better stock. I want 46 sales before the 20th of the month to be top rated seller it is obvious that I must auction everyday now thanks for the advice

·3 years agoI don't worry so much about how many items I sell but more about the profit I make. Most of what you sell is low priced items so you do need a lot of sales each day to make a profit. I would just suggest you find and add higher priced items at low cost to make more money. Really that is what it is all about. Making Money!

·3 years agoWhile it takes some close monitoring diversify across multiple selling platforms and venues. After all that is what the buyers are doing. Hoping, which is not a strategy, for a 1% turnover rate per day which equates to about 30% per month or 360% annually is probably unrealistic depending on what you are selling.
While I did not look at all of your current 2,300 listings you have a narrow product line but the prices seem reasonable. You have also only been selling for couple of months, at least on this account, it may take time to build up followers and repeat sales.

·3 years agoI think you need to adjust your expectations
good sellers can sell 10% a month of what they have listed
with 2000 items you will be doing good if you can sell 200 items a month
thats about 7 items a day
of course you will still need to put on 200 fresh listing every month in order to keep the same sales rate
if you want to sell a lot of items you will need to use 99 cent no reserve auctions like I do
every year I sell about 2100 items and list perhaps 2500
only about of the items you see on ebay will ever sell
