Help with sales
Hello,
To whomever reads this, I am fairly new to selling via eBay.
If there is anyone willing to mentor/guide an amateur throughout their success with eBay sales we could work something out business wise.
A conversation from someone with years of work experience on eBay would help .

·2 years agoI'm a returning creator/seller whose been gone since 2018. As soon as I came back I noticed that it was very difficult to get any traffic to my items. eBay has completely changed from back in the days of prosperity. The only sale I made was from a listing that I messed up on.
Is there any help for us newbies? I'm on disability and have very little time to spare because I get tired and sore. Should I continue wasting my precious time doing this? or, should I go elsewhere? I can only manage three listings per day.

·2 years agoSorry to say you are in an extremely oversaturated category with those handmade bracelets. I pull up over 220,000 liistings of those handmade bracelets. You may want to rethink your selling strategy and try some other items for sale.

·2 years agoIf you want to get serious, crosslist on more than one site. Aside from AMZ, eBay will get the most traffic. 3 listings per day is a solid target, imo.
You can get help here if there are problems with a transaction.
No one can list and make items sell but you.

·2 years agoI would be very careful about the items you list as new.
Verify that the full manufacturer's warranty applies to these items if purchased from you.
Many manufacturers might treat you as the first retail buyer and will not honor the warranty if your customer attempts to register it or make a claim.
I also share the belief that you listings are best sold by Buy It Now, not auctions.

·2 years agoGo back in a write descriptions for the listings where you skipped adding descriptions.
That one description that you did enter using AI, has a non truth. There is no 1 year manufacturers warranty.
On eBay, the buyer gets 30 days from the delivery date.

·2 years agoI'd get rid of auctions and list as a fixed price with immediate payment required.
Auctions are good for some items, but not your everyday items.

·2 years agoTo start you off below are a list of links to eBay policies you need to be aware of before starting your selling career on eBay.
Also don't sell anything without first making sure you have documentation showing you own the items you're going to be selling, if you plan on selling items that are high priced, be prepared for scammers. eBay may request that documentation.
Stay away from auctions, auctions are a magnet for scammers especially when you are a new seller, list with fixed price with immediate payment required.

·2 years agoI agree with @lakefor94 . Third party sales aren't covered by the manufacturer if the seller is not an authorized distributor. eBay also has a warranty policy that if a manufacturer warranty is offered you must have the full written text of the warranty in the description or a link to it so the buyer will know how to register the warranty and the number to call for service after the sale. Copying and pasting information from the product's website is meaningless if the seller doesn't have a written agreement from the manufacturer.
