Getting weird legal threats
Hi fellow eBay'ers,
I have been receiving strange messages from someone in China who says they have the legal right to determine who sells "their" products downstream from production. I can't confirm whether they are legitimate or lying to me, and I don't know whom at eBay to contact to help me determine whether I am dealing with a fraudster or not. eBay says they scan messages for fraud... I am confused.
Please help.

Google the First Sale Doctrine.
The first sale doctrine is a legal principle that allows the purchaser of a lawfully made physical item containing intellectual property to resell, lend, or give away that specific copy without the owner's permission.
That's what Library's use to lend out books, tool rental stores use to rent out tools, and of course, resellers to sell their items on eBay.

YOU send me your bank info and passwords first, then I'll send you mine, I promise!
(You may not be aware, DM's are not a thing as of now)
