Funds
Hi, I’ve been selling on eBay for about a month now, and recently I sold a few things and I have money awaiting. I did local pick up and from both of my customers I got the six digit secure code. Which tells eBay the customer got their order. All of that is completed but my funds are still on hold till November 24th is there a reason why? I’ve sold 400 dollars worth of things this month and I haven’t ran into the issue. I’ve always gotten my money 1-2 days later? Can someone help or does anyone have the same issue?

·2 years agoYou don't own those digital item you're selling.
If the buyer gets the account shut down, you'll be refunding and Ebay wants to make sure the money is there to refund.

·2 years agoUsually eBay will hold funds on a new seller for about 30 days. If you are only having funds held for about 12 days, you are doing pretty well.

·2 years agoJust because the buyer "gets" the item, doesn't mean there couldn't be a NAD (not as described) case later.
The reason is ALL new and infrequent sellers will have their payouts on hold for up to 30 days or longer if the item is a big ticket item.
