Flooded with scams
The second i posted my first 2 items for sale my email was flooded with scam emails saying my item sold and i need to verify my account by copy and pasting the link in the email in my browser to get paid. Like hundreds of theses. I know better than to ever copy a link to my browser and open it.
I was so frustrated because i wasn't sure if one was really from ebay. Its annoying. Ebay why and how did so many people get my email so soon. You really need to crack down on the scamers.

If eBay sends you a message, it will be addressed to you by full name, and will not come from a random username with a number in it; it will come from eBay and will appear in your messages under "From eBay". eBay will never ask you to copy and paste something into your browser address bar -- that is something scammers often do, though.

Messages through the Ebay messaging system should be easy to recognize/
