Can you sell something on eBay, and use the funds on eBay to buy something on eBay, Without linking a bank account? Or do you have to have a bank account linked directly? Does eBay have â€œcreditâ€ from the sold items for buying eBay items without a bank account linked? In short, can i sell things on eBay to buy things on eBay without linking my bank account?

You have to sign up with Managed Payments, Managed Payments requires a checking account for sellers to receive their payouts

Yes, you link your checking account with your eBay account to be paid. Your Social security number will also be required for IRS tax purposes

No you must have a checking account on file. Otherwise ,if you don't have a linked checking account, any money earned from selling will go to your states Unclaimed Property department where you will collect it there, that process takes months.

You can sign up for Spendable funds when you qualify, you will still be required to link a checking account.
Also all new and infrequent sellers will experience payout holds for up to 30 days to ensure the buyers won't file a return.
