Calling All eBay Experts - Help Me Boost My Sales and Grow My Store on eBay
I am reaching out to ask for your help in boosting sales for my eBay store. I have recently started selling a variety of high-quality products and am looking to expand my customer base.
I have tried various marketing strategies, but I am still struggling to attract more buyers. I would greatly appreciate any advice or tips on how to improve my sales and increase my visibility on eBay.
If you have any insights on how to optimize product listings, improve customer service, or reach a wider audience, I would love to hear from you. I am open to suggestions and willing to put in the effort to make my eBay store a success.

I can go to Amazon, probably the same place your dropshipping from and get the stuff for half of what you're trying to sell for.

·3 years agoDrop shipping returns will end up costing you as well.
If an item is not as described and a person in the US wants to return it, you will be on the hook for the return, not the drop shipper.
Which will probably end up with the buyer keeping the item and getting a refund too.

I have only one sale. I need to improve my sales.
Please share some tips & experience on that.

1.) You are using a sales model that is NOT allowed (drop shipping- you need to have the items in possession)
2.) Your prices are WAY TOO HIGH

Everyone here just did. You have a lot of flaws in your listings and you are overpriced. If you want people to buy your items, lower your prices...and don't drop ship.

·3 years agoYou need to personally look over each item to give an accurate description of any item you sell.
Honestly, you lost me at "high quality products".
Also, you do not seem to want to sell to people in your own country. Not sue why?

·3 years agoBecause the OP is using a drop shipper, it would not be possible for him to look over every item that he's selling. (Unless, of course, he wants to buy one of each item from any of the multitude of sellers who are listing the same thing."

·3 years agoI can speak only for U.S. buyers:
You are dropshipping. That means you have no control over the availability, quality, authenticity, packing or timely shipping of the merchandise -- but you are fully responsible to your buyers for each of those things.
As a dropshipper, you are using stock photographs, because you do not have these items in your possession, so you do not know how accurate the photos are; nor do your buyers.
Everything you are selling is available from other sellers, and locally, at lower prices and hassle-free.
Experienced buyers have become very wary of dropshippers, after so many disappointments buying from them.

No one here is going to give you their tips or secrets to having a successful business platform. Remember, we are the competition. The best thing you can do is do some research and price comparisons on the inventory you are offering. You are WAY too high on almost all of the items you are selling. Do you have any background in business or are you just setting your prices at those particular prices because your friends are doing it?
Your items do not merit that price, believe me. Plus you are drop shipping from the US in Denver Colorado. Drop shipping is risky business choice and most don't do well with that selling platform. It also appears you are drop shipping from a retailer as your exact same photo came up on Amazons site and for 1/2 the price. That is item location misrepresentation and in most cases sellers are suspended before they can make any real money.
I would suggest you use your social media buttons at the top right hand of the page where it reads "Share" and attach your listings to what ever apps you use. You could get some lookers that way.

·3 years agoThe simple answer is if you want more eyes, you need to offer eBay more money. Promoting is the only way you will get more eyes here. You have to give them a bigger percent of the sale.

Your products are common and your prices are too high.
For example:
Your $19 kids bike handlebar streamers are on Amazon for $7
Your $18 hanging basket chain isa at my local hardware store for $5
Your $26 plastic flower urn is at my local bog box store for $13
You do not need an eBay expert to help you with basic pricing research.

·3 years agoWhen you are using a drop shipper, you need to understand that there will be hundreds, or maybe thousands, of other sellers using that same source, selling those same items.

If The OP is doing that they will get kicked off.
I saw several items you can buy at the Dollar Tree for a dollar and a quarter. Which is really OK but reselling them for $13 and $18 is a rip off.

I've seen a few from Pakistan that came here complaining their accounts were restricted/suspended. One had a negative complaint concerning if they wanted to purchase that item from Amazon, they would have. OP doesn't seem to see the problem with it (violation) although many tried to advise them. We shall see.

·3 years agoYep, Mainstays and Great Value are Walmart Brands. There are companies like Kapruka, ColisExpat, and Ubuy.com.lk that will buy from Walmart and have your items delivered to you or to any address you want them delivered.
It's retail dropshipping they're doing.
I predict the OP won't last long selling here.

picture shows 2 items of different sizes.......item specifics and description seem to describe the same size item. Item specifics say 3,5 items. Mounting type says: Hanging,Inside Mount,Wall Mount,Window Mount. While perhaps it could be hung.....if any hanger were included........no way it is "wall mount"......
In order to sell on ebay, you have to understand what you are selling and describe the items accurately.......just copying a description, even one supplied by your drop shipper, isn't adequate especially if it is incorrect..........

·3 years agoYou are located in Sri Lanka and appear to be drop shipping items out of Denver, Colorado. Not sure who your using for your supplier but you should read the policy on drop shipping.

Looking at one of your listings the same item is available, for less by the way, from two major US retailers. Are you using one of them to fill your orders directly. Drop shipping is a poor business model and most who try it don't last long.
