Best way to ship vintage pvc figures

·4 days agoI have been using Padded envelopes to mail things like that for a while now. What I do to protect the item is I wrap it in bubble wrap and then I wrap the item again in a piece of cut cardboard. It is a bit unconventional but it protects the item from damage and I have had many compliments on how well I pack items.

·4 days agoIf selling individually and they are small and no worry about damage a small padded envelope is fine, but I'd still add a little bit of extra protection.
Buyer's like free shipping, but if it causes a great price increase to cover it then consider calculated shipping and/or set up discounts for additional items shipped together, which make sure to cover your cost and encourages buyers to buy more than one item at a time to save on shipping.

·5 days agoI have another selling account where I sell vintage Barbies and Bratz Dolls, and I've shipped hundreds of them by wrapping them in a good layer of bubble wrap and placing them into a 9 X 12 Poly Envelope - and wrapping that poly around the item - the size is usually 12 X 4 X 2 for a Barbie, and about 5 to 7 ounces depending on her outfit. Only one complaint so far, there was nothing wrong with doll, the buyer just didn't like the packing, doll arrived as described.

·4 days ago@happyc99 Whether or not they "are pvc and not breakable," the cost is probably going to be the same, whether you use a polybag or a box -- they're both shipping by USPS Ground Advantage.
And they'll be safer inside a box than in a bag, since those extra layers of cardboard will offer more protection, especially after a 70 pound carton lands on top of it.
