Can you post any photos? I’m fluent in Hebrew…also original ancient Hebrew is different In nature and can be read by experts..you may want to consult legal professionals in you location to avoid any issues with ownership at original location…
It's something that would need to be authenticated by a historian or museum before anyone would consider spending money on it. That said, it's probably better off being dealt with in person to a private collector or museum, or through a specialty business, like a rare book and manuscript dealer. I'd hate to have you send it to someone through the mail, only to have them scam you and send back directions for building a barn or something.
I would think there would be a definite interest in your items, But you would need to set up an account with Ebay so you can list them, There is no way for you to sell them here on this forum.
I see you are in Oman. Ancient hebrew manuscripts would be exceptionally rare in your locale.
I don't know the current sediments towards said documents by officials there but I think one might tread with caution when offering to disseminate the opinions contained in those documents.
If they are indeed ancient manuscripts found in Oman the rarity of such manuscripts might have export restritions due to their rarity if for no other reasons.........................
Myself if I were in posession of said manuscripts I would seek every avenue I could find for compensation. Museums, scholars perhaps Israel. Many might be interested.
I would spend some time researching (unless you already have) and not be in too much of a hurry to see who might be interested. That may be hard to do. As I understand it the Sultanate of Oman monitors web activity and as I said before...I would tread with caution, especially on a site as public as eBay or Amazon for instance..................................

OP8 months agoYes, I live in the Sultanate of Oman, but this manuscript is not Omani; it is from Yemen. I also own it.

·8 months agoYou need to list it on eBay. Buyers won't see that here. This board is for questions about using eBay.
