in the advertising and related preferences , its not so easy to understand the toggle switch.
why are the toggle switches on gray as default? I find it odd they have toggle switches for this but others they just have a check box and thats far easier to understand. check for yes, empty box means no.
I find it suspicious that they would be on no as default. who would say to themselves "yes, let me turn them so everyone can have my data"
always these situations are that you need to go and turn them off because they are always on. and I dont believe ebay has good will for myself with thei advertising and such and want to give it to others for money
could not find a category for account so this will need to be moved.

It's really not that big of deal. In your pricing category where it states "see all options" make sure there are none you don't want to use enabled. They should be gray. Blue would mean you accept features that perhaps you don't want to use. Do you want ebay to manage your pricing on an item? Do you want them to lower the price that you didn't post? Do you want them to add a best offer, even though you opted out of it? I know I don't. There have been posts here concerning this feature and most were very unhappy with it. One person sold a $800 item for $3.99 due to ebay's pricing features. This has caused a lot of cancellations for sellers and head aches for buyers.
When you make a listing make sure Ebay has not turned on features that you don't want on your page. Also check your shipping "see more options". If you don't want to ship to a certain country, make sure Ebay has not enabled that feature either to where you do.

OP3 years agoI never care to sell on ebay. waste of time and fees to pay them. I sell through many other channels that have fair or no fees. facebook marketplace and 3 other classified sites and it sells well always.
