Account location unchanged
I first created my ebay account whiles in the UK in 2011. I have moved to the USA since 2020 and intend to use my account to start selling but unable to edit my personal location as recorded from the UK to reflect my US address . Since the page is unable effect such change , it is therefore recorded my location to be in the UK which is placing me in an disadvantaged position in searches and billing.
Can you please have this rectified .

·3 years agoIf you have not yet enrolled in Managed Payments as a seller, you may be able to move your account (see the non-payment seller section in the link below).

If you are already using Managed Payments, eBay recommends opening a new account to change your country registration. Of course, you can still keep your original account for buying or if you return to the UK.
If you have not yet enrolled in Managed Payments and are unable to change your registration country, use the "Contact us" option at the bottom of this help page and type "agent" into the chat that opens. Do so during normal business hours so that the agent can reach out to a US supervisor if necessary.

You may have to open another selling account. I personally have 2 on Ebay, so it is permissible. Make sure that your info on your bank account is the same as your address, ID, etc.
