30 day payout holds
How long is a seller considered “new” on eBay? 90 days of seller history and every item delivered on time with tracking provided seems like a good history. Can anyone show me where eBay policy says who is considered “new” sellers or where it’s says they can place 30 day hold on payouts for no reason? I’ve found where it says accounts can be place on hold for late shipping, not providing tracking or buyer disputes.

·1 month agoAfraid there are lots of things that remain a mystery with ebay and this is only one of them. Worse is they keep changing these mysterious rules so you never really can kept up or adapt to them.

OP1 month agoI agree, it’s impossible to follow all the guidelines when they change them every other day.

TYPICALLY
MOST orders
etc.
Bottom line- you will be released from Holds when the system is confident with you. Selling 12 items over a 90 day period makes you STILL a 'NEW' seller.

Bottom line - EBay refuses to answer questions or clarify policies.

·1 month agoYou should be starting to see your hold time reduced until it eventually goes away.
Do you ship within 1 business day?
Do you have a return policy set?
What do you have your payout schedule set for?

OP1 month agoYes I ship within one day, I have the return policy set up and my payout schedule is set for the express payout. My previous sells haven’t had a problem with payouts after the items were delivered but my last four were placed on a 30 day hold without even notifying me. Customer service says they don’t know why
